Privacy Policy
Short version: Adiufant uses the information needed to turn content you choose into events and preparation tasks, keep the service secure and reliable, and support you. We do not sell personal information, show targeted advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Information we collect
- Account information: your Firebase user ID, email address, display name, profile image URL, and sign-in provider when you use Google or Apple authentication. Adiufant does not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
- Content you provide: event details, tasks, important-person names and tags, photos, camera captures, PDFs, voice recordings, calendar content you choose to scan, and related metadata.
- Product interaction: analysis identifiers, feature use, model and prompt version, token counts, processing results, timing, and acceptance or skip outcomes.
- Diagnostics: crash, performance, app version, operating-system, and device information collected through Firebase Crashlytics and platform services.
- Support communications: messages and attachments you choose to send us.
Permissions and data stored on your device
Adiufant requests access only when a feature needs it, such as the camera, microphone, photos, notifications, or calendar. Events, tasks, people, tags, settings, and media metadata are primarily stored in app-private storage protected by your device's operating system. You can deny optional permissions, although the related feature may not work. Calendar entries are added or read only when you ask Adiufant to use those features.
AI processing and temporary uploads
When you request AI analysis, Adiufant sends the selected content and the instructions needed to process it through our authenticated Firebase services to Google's Gemini API. Larger files may first be uploaded to a protected temporary Cloud Storage location and then transferred to Gemini. We attempt to delete the temporary Cloud Storage copy immediately after a successful transfer; a storage lifecycle rule deletes any remaining temporary upload after no more than 24 hours. Google's provider-controlled handling of the Gemini copy is governed by the applicable Google service terms and data-processing commitments.
How we use information
- Provide media analysis, event extraction, preparation tasks, calendar features, authentication, and account support.
- Protect the service, enforce quotas, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse.
- Measure reliability and improve extraction quality and product behavior.
- Respond to support, privacy, safety, and legal requests.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Google Firebase for authentication, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Firestore, App Check, and Crashlytics; Google Gemini for AI processing; Google Cloud BigQuery for controlled analytics exports; and Apple and Google platform services for sign-in, distribution, permissions, and calendar integration. These providers process information for us under their own security, privacy, and retention terms. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention
- AI analysis and usage analytics: retained for no more than 90 days in Firestore and BigQuery, unless a shorter period applies or a legal obligation requires otherwise.
- Temporary Cloud Storage uploads: deleted immediately on a best-effort basis after Gemini transfer, with a 24-hour lifecycle fallback.
- Local app data: remains on the device until you remove it, delete your account, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes it.
- Account and operational records: kept while your account is active and only as long afterward as needed for deletion completion, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
- Crash and service logs: retained under Google/Firebase and platform-controlled retention schedules, which may differ from our 90-day analytics limit.
Account deletion and your choices
You can start account deletion from Settings > Delete Account in Adiufant. The app asks you to sign in again, queues deletion of associated cloud data, deletes your Firebase account, and clears local app data after account deletion succeeds. For Apple accounts, Adiufant also requests revocation of the Apple authorization token. We complete queued cloud cleanup within seven days. See the Account Deletion page for details.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information, and to appeal a decision. Contact [email protected]. You may also manage permissions in your device settings.
Advertising and tracking
Adiufant does not contain advertising, sell personal information, or use personal information to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
International transfers and security
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where we and our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Adiufant is intended for parents and other adults and is not directed to children. Adults may enter family information when organizing events. We do not knowingly permit a child under 13, or the higher minimum age required locally, to create an account. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization.
